LEGAL
Terms of Service
Effective Date: July 18, 2026
Applies to: Vyxor iOS app · vyxor.io website
Published by: Vyxor LLC · San Diego, California
The short version: Vyxor shows you what
apps on your phone are doing with your
data. It is an informational tool —
everything happens on your device,
subscriptions are billed through Apple and
renew automatically unless you cancel,
and if you downgrade, data older than your
new plan’s window is deleted from your
device. The rest of this page says that in
more detail.
Vyxor LLC (“Vyxor,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is a
California limited liability company. These
Terms of Service (“Terms”) are an agreement
between you and Vyxor LLC covering your use
of the Vyxor iOS app and the vyxor.io website.
By downloading, installing, or using the Vyxor
app, or by using vyxor.io, you agree to these
Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use
Vyxor.
Our Privacy Policy, available at
vyxor.io/privacy, explains how we handle data
and is part of these Terms.
1. What Vyxor Is
Vyxor is an on-device network monitoring tool.
It shows you, in plain language, which
companies the apps on your phone are
contacting, when, and how often. All
monitoring, classification, and pattern analysis
happens on your device. Vyxor does not route
your traffic through our servers, and we never
see your data.
Vyxor is an informational tool. It observes and
reports network activity — it does not block
connections, remove trackers, or change how
your apps behave. Knowing what is happening
is the product; deciding what to do about it is
up to you.
2. Who Can Use Vyxor
You must be at least 13 years old to use Vyxor.
If you are between 13 and 18 (or the age of
majority where you live), you may only use
Vyxor with the permission of a parent or
guardian. By using Vyxor, you confirm you
meet these requirements.
3. Subscriptions and Billing
3a. Plans
Vyxor offers a free plan and paid
subscriptions. The difference between plans is
how far back your on-device history goes:
Basic (free): 7 days of history
Standard: 30 days of history — $2.99 per
month or $24.99 per year
Pro: 90 days of history — $4.99 per month
or $39.99 per year
Prices are in U.S. dollars and may vary by
region. Current prices are always shown in the
app before you purchase.
3b. Auto-renewal
Paid subscriptions renew automatically. Your
Apple ID account will be charged for renewal
within 24 hours before the end of the current
period, at the price shown when you
subscribed, unless you cancel at least 24
hours before the current period ends.
3c. Managing and canceling your
subscription
Subscriptions are billed and managed by Apple
through your Apple ID. You can manage or
cancel your subscription at any time in your
device’s Settings → your name →
Subscriptions. Deleting the app does not
cancel your subscription.
If you cancel, you keep your paid plan’s
features until the end of the period you already
paid for. No partial refunds are given for
unused time.
3d. Refunds
Because billing is handled by Apple, refund
requests are made to Apple, not to Vyxor,
through reportaproblem.apple.com. Apple’s
decision on refunds is governed by Apple’s
own terms.
3e. What happens to your data when your
plan changes
This part matters, so we want it to be clear:
Upgrading extends your history window
going forward. Data that was already
deleted under your old plan cannot be
recovered — Vyxor never had a copy,
because your data never leaves your
device.
Downgrading or canceling shrinks your
history window. When your plan changes to
a shorter window, data on your device older
than the new window is permanently
deleted. For example, moving from Pro (90
days) to Basic (7 days) deletes everything
older than 7 days. This deletion happens on
your device and cannot be undone by you
or by us.
3f. Price changes
If we change subscription prices, the new
price applies to renewals after the change, and
Apple will notify you in advance as required by
App Store rules. If you do not agree with a new
price, you can cancel before your next
renewal.
4. Your License to Use Vyxor
We grant you a limited, personal, non-
exclusive, non-transferable license to install
and use the Vyxor app on Apple devices that
you own or control, for your personal, non-
commercial use, as permitted by the App Store
terms.
You agree not to:
Copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any
part of Vyxor
Reverse engineer or attempt to extract the
source code of Vyxor, except to the extent
the law permits it despite this restriction
Use Vyxor to violate any law or the rights of
others
Misrepresent Vyxor’s findings as statements
made by Vyxor LLC (see Section 6)
5. Intellectual Property
Vyxor, the Vyxor logo, and “Know what knows
you” are trademarks of Vyxor LLC. The app,
website, tracker database, and all related
content are owned by Vyxor LLC and protected
by intellectual property laws. These Terms do
not give you any ownership of Vyxor or the
right to use our trademarks.
6. About Vyxor’s Findings
Vyxor classifies network destinations using a
database of publicly known tracking and
analytics services, and reports patterns it
observes on your device. These classifications
and pattern descriptions are our best-effort
interpretation of publicly available
information, provided for your information
only. They are not accusations of wrongdoing
by any company, and they are not legal,
security, or professional advice.
Network activity Vyxor describes as “tracking”
may be legitimate functionality, and companies
may have lawful reasons for the connections
shown. Vyxor may also miss connections: it
cannot see traffic that does not use DNS in an
observable way, and no tracker database is
complete. Do not rely on Vyxor as your only
security or privacy protection.
7. Disclaimers
Vyxor is provided “as is” and “as available,”
without warranties of any kind, express or
implied, including warranties of
merchantability, fitness for a particular
purpose, and non-infringement. We do not
warrant that Vyxor will be uninterrupted, error-
free, or that it will detect every tracker or every
network connection on your device.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion
of implied warranties, so some of the above
may not apply to you.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law,
Vyxor LLC will not be liable for any indirect,
incidental, special, consequential, or punitive
damages, or any loss of data, profits, or
goodwill, arising out of or related to your use
of Vyxor.
To the maximum extent permitted by law,
Vyxor LLC’s total liability for all claims related
to Vyxor is limited to the greater of (a) the
amount you paid us for Vyxor in the 12 months
before the claim arose, or (b) fifty U.S. dollars
($50).
Nothing in these Terms limits liability that
cannot be limited under applicable law.
9. Apple-Specific Terms
Because Vyxor is distributed through the Apple
App Store, the following also applies:
These Terms are between you and Vyxor
LLC only — not Apple. Apple is not
responsible for the app or its content.
Apple has no obligation to provide
maintenance or support for Vyxor. If the app
fails to conform to an applicable warranty,
you may notify Apple and Apple will refund
the purchase price; beyond that, Apple has
no other warranty obligation for the app.
Apple is not responsible for addressing any
claims relating to the app, including product
liability claims, claims that the app fails to
conform to legal or regulatory requirements,
and consumer protection claims.
In the event of any third-party claim that the
app infringes intellectual property rights,
Vyxor LLC, not Apple, is responsible for the
investigation, defense, settlement, and
discharge of that claim.
You represent that you are not located in a
country subject to a U.S. Government
embargo or designated as a “terrorist
supporting” country, and that you are not on
any U.S. Government list of prohibited or
restricted parties.
Apple and Apple’s subsidiaries are third-
party beneficiaries of these Terms and may
enforce them against you.
10. Termination
You can stop using Vyxor at any time by
deleting the app. We may suspend or terminate
your access to Vyxor if you materially violate
these Terms. Sections 5 through 9 and 11
through 13 survive termination.
Because your data lives only on your device,
deleting the app deletes your data. We have
nothing to retain or return.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time.
When we do, we will revise the effective date
at the top of this page, and for material
changes we will provide notice through the
app or website. Your continued use of Vyxor
after a change takes effect constitutes
acceptance of the updated Terms. The current
version is always available at vyxor.io/terms.
12. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the
State of California, without regard to its conflict
of laws rules. Any dispute arising out of these
Terms or your use of Vyxor will be resolved in
the state or federal courts located in San Diego
County, California, and you consent to the
jurisdiction of those courts.
Before filing any claim, you agree to contact us
at info@vyxor.io and give us 30 days to try to
resolve the issue informally.
13. General
These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy,
are the entire agreement between you and
Vyxor LLC regarding Vyxor. If any part of these
Terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains
in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is
not a waiver of it. You may not assign these
Terms; we may assign them in connection with
a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
